ART MANEKI | TSUBAKI Sky Blue (Left) is an art object that merges a century of traditional craftsmanship with the contemporary expression of THE MANEKI.

While based on the traditional structure of the Maneki-neko (beckoning cat), it has been reconstructed as a study of the relationship between color and form, free from fixed meanings or roles.

Inherent Interpretation

The decoration of this piece is not used to denote calmness or reassurance. Instead, the color symbolizes distance, depth, and the direction in which thoughts expand. It is not a color that provides an answer, but one that indicates a state where one's perspective reaches out into the far distance.

TSUBAKI | Camellia

The camellia is a flower that possesses a strong silhouette, yet its presence always maintains a sense of equilibrium.

By layering Sky Blue onto its form, the clarity of shape and the expansion of depth emerge simultaneously. In this work, the color is overlaid onto the structural beauty of the camellia, positioned not as a fixed meaning, but as a "margin for thought."
